Monika Bertaki joined the Clark County Department of Aviation in January 2023 as the Chief Aviation Marketing Officer. In her role, she oversees all communication efforts, including branding, media relations, advertising, and social media for Harry Reid International Airport, along with the four general aviation facilities in the Clark County airport system. Additionally, she oversees the airport experience program, which aims to deliver an enriched experience for guests, team members, and the Southern Nevada community.

Bertaki has more than 10 years of experience cultivating community and corporate partnerships, as well as implementing large campaigns in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining the Department of Aviation, Bertaki held several media, marketing and creative positions at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada and Caesars Entertainment.

Bertaki earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies and master’s degree in rhetoric from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She has also served as a public speaking instructor at UNLV and is fluent in three languages.
