Know Before You Go
Before leaving for the airport, make sure you know the following:
- Airline
- Flight Number
- Which Terminal
- Time of Arrival
- Designated Meeting Place
- Height clearance is 8' 2"
Terminal 1
Passenger Pick Up at Terminal 1 is located across the pedestrian bridge from baggage claim on Level 1 of the parking garage. This area is designated for immediate loading only. Unattended vehicles will be cited and/or towed. Short Term Parking is also available in this area. There is no charge for the first 15 minutes in Short Term Parking. To avoid a charge while driving through, you must insert your ticket at an exit gate, not a walk-up pay station.
Driving Directions to Passenger Pick Up at Terminal 1
From Russell Road
- Drive west on Russell Road past Maryland Parkway and get in the center lane.
- Turn left onto Paradise Road and get in the far right lane.
- Exit right, following the overhead sign marked “All Terminals.”
- Keep right, going under the bridge, and continue to follow the signs to Terminal 1 and then signs marked “Terminal 1, Parking.”
- Continue straight ahead and follow the overhead signs to Passenger Pick-Up.
- Columns in Passenger Pick-Up are numbered 01 –12.
From Paradise Road
- Drive south on Paradise Road and get in the second lane from the right.
- Follow the overhead signs marked “Passenger Pick-Up, Parking.”
- Continue straight ahead and follow the overhead signs to Passenger Pick-Up.
- Columns in Passenger Pick-Up are numbered 01 – 12.
From I-215
- Exit I-215, follow the signs to the airport.
- Get in the left lane and proceed through the northbound tunnel.
- Stay in the left lane and follow the signs to Terminal 1, and then signs marked “Terminal 1, Passenger Pick-Up, Parking.”
- Follow the overhead signs to Passenger Pick Up.
- Columns in Passenger Pick-Up are numbered 01 – 12.
