International Departures

Ticketing/Check-In is located on the east end of Terminal 3 on Level 2. Dynamic signage on the curb will assist you in locating your airline. Once you have checked in with your airline, proceed to the TSA security checkpoint located in the center of the terminal building where you should be be prepared to present valid photo I.D. and a boarding pass.

Once past the security checkpoints, there are a variety of shopping and dining options available, including a 10,000-square-foot duty free shop. International airlines operates from E Gates 1 through 7.

International Arrivals

If your flight will be clearing customs, once you exit the aircraft you will be directed downstairs to Level Zero to Customs & Border Protection.

Customs & Border Protection

The CBP arrivals hall is nearly 60,000 square feet and features 28 passenger processing lanes. The large queuing area has the capacity to process up to 2,000 passengers per hour.

Global Entry Program

The Customs & Border Protection Global Entry program is available at Harry Reid International Airport and provides an electronic passport control process for pre-approved travelers enabling users to avoid waiting in line at the immigration checkpoint, making international travel to Las Vegas quicker and easier. Global Entry allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Though intended for frequent international travelers, there is no minimum number of trips necessary to qualify for the program. Participants may enter the United States by using automated kiosks located at select airports.

Model Ports Initiative

Harry Reid International Airport participates in the Model Ports initiative which was launched by the Departments of Homeland Security and State to present a warmer welcome to travelers and provide a more intuitive process by improving signage, communications, and using technology to facilitate entry.

The goals of Model Ports are straightforward:

  • Ensure that passengers entering the United States are welcomed by Customs and Border Protection officers who treat them with respect and understanding;
  • Provide the right information to help travelers, at the right time and in a hospitable manner;
  • Create a calm, pleasant Customs waiting area;
  • Streamline the Customs process.
